Visual Changes!


Hello everyone! It's been 3 months since our last devlog, quite some time! But we haven't stopped working for a second.

Today I bring you a sneak-peek of the new designs for the characters' suits! They're gonna have more polished sprites with crisp pixel art animation done by none other than OuroYisus, our spriter!


I'm also happy to finally introduce Axel and Hazel properly to you guys! They're very interesting characters that you'll love throughout your playthrough. There are quite a few more characters in this game, with their own beliefs, backstories and factions. I can't wait to show them to all of you, but please wait a little more so that we can get them to a presentable state!

As for gameplay, there are a few new features! Axel now new abilities called "EX Specials". By bouncing off of enemies with the Spin Attack, you can gather Momentum and unleash powerful moves with various effects!


Hazel has new skills as well! Albeit simpler, she can now perform an Up Slash and Down Slash to hit enemies in difficult spots. The Down Slash even makes her pogo off of enemies, and can be used to recover in tough situations!


We're readying a Demo for Sonic Amateur Games Expo a few months from now, and it'll be packed with updated features! I'll hold off on posting new things on Twitter for a while, as I want you all to have a great experience when it comes out, with as few spoilers as possible. It's a rather tight deadline, but we'll make it!
